About Us

Meet the Team

We're here to support you!

The Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom (MAITC) team empowers K-12 educators to integrate agriculture into their science, social studies, language arts and nutrition curricula to grow agricultural literacy. MAITC Education Specialists and Resource Specialists support and inspire educators across the entire state of Minnesota.

Education Specialists

Our Education Specialists connect Minnesota K-12 educators with high-quality curricular resources, programs, and experiences focused on using food, plants and animals for student learning. The Education Specialists want all K-12 educators and students to be excited about their connection to Minnesota agriculture and knowledgeable about the impact agriculture has on their lives and future careers. Education Specialists lead professional development for K-12 educators and are eager to assist these educators in any way possible!
